Del Mar breaks ground on Beach Safety Center

The City of Del Mar and Friends of the Powerhouse celebrated the groundbreaking for the 17th Street Beach Safety Center on Oct. 3. The construction of the new facility will replace the inadequate structure and ensure effective lifeguard protection services and improve access to the beach for residents and the millions of visitors to the beaches of Del Mar. See a video of the event at http://vimeo.com/30517184
