Parents and students can use this as a chance to make constructive comments that provide meaningful feedback. It's not okay -- and I hope I made this clear -- to just blast away at a teacher. Sit with your child at the computer, visit the site and help your child make comments that are productive, true and reflect your child's feelings. This is a time to teach moral character. That it is not OK to hide behind a website and say nasty things, but an opportunity to offer a mature, thoughtful opinion. It's sad to read past posts that are nasty (comments about weight and double chins) and full of spelling and grammatical errors. Hopefully our community can do better and can be productive with a tool such as this. I encourage parents to make this an educational experience.
