Del Mar/Carmel Valley Sharks Champions — Purple Reign!

Team Purple Reign capped off a great season by taking first place in the Girls Division 3 (u14) season-ending recreational tournament in a very competitive game against Team Fajitas. While giving up two goals early in the match, second half goals from Andrea D’ercole and Christiana Rigopoulos evened the match taking the game into penalty kicks.

With the rain falling, Macy Simon, Christiana Rigopoulos, and Katy Laliotis all scored  their PKs, while goalkeeper Caroline Sanborn held team Fajitas to 2 PKs.
