The sixth annual San Dieguito Union High School District’s adapted PE basketball tournament was held on Nov. 16 at the Carmel Valley Middle School gym. The stands were full of cheering fans as adapted PE teams from CVMS, Earl Warren, Torrey Pines, Oak Crest and La Costa Canyon competed. Every player had the opportunity to score a basket, some with help from their friends in the Buddies program, which pairs an adapted PE student with a general education student. At the end of the tournament, all participants received a medal.  Photos: Karen Billing
