Solana Beach School District selects new superintendent

The Solana Beach School District Board of Education recently announced Dr. Nancy Lynch as the finalist for the superintendent position. Lynch comes to Solana Beach from Placerville Union School District where she has served as superintendent since 2007. With more than 24 years of education experience, she has served as an elementary teacher, principal, and district office administrator in Palm Springs and Beverly Hills. Ratification of the contract is scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education on Feb. 9.
