Solana Beach native receives Joint Service Achievement Medal

Shelby Williams Hladon, a former resident of Solana Beach and 1986 graduate of Torrey Pines High School, recently received the Joint Service Achievement Medal from Major General Mark Clark, USMC.

Hladon is a Commander, JAGC, U.S. Navy. She is at Special Operations Command, MacDill Airforse Base in Tampa, Fla.

Hladon’s parents are Roger and Bettybob Williams of Solana Beach.
