I really have a hard time understanding why this community opposes the train when the tracks are already there. Why shortcut the service as limited? As a resident, I know I would welcome a walk to the train stop here. I currently drive to sorrento valley to pick up the coaster for a downtown work commute. Would not visitors and local businesses benefit as well? A lack of available parking is always going to be an issue, train stop or not, but at least with a stop, a vehicle free visit to del mar is available and possibly faster than bus service.
