Del Mar artist competes for Plein Air Painting Awards

Del Mar resident artist Joli Beal has entered into San Clemente’s Paint San Clemente plein air event.  The yearly competition is sponsored by the San Clemente Art Association, a 59 year-old nonprofit organization and will take place June 16-24. Proceeds from this event fund SCAA’s art scholarship program benefiting San Clemente schools and students.

San Clemente Art Association’s Paint San Clemente runs June 16-24. This week-long event includes: a Plein Air Painting competition, a Quick Draw painting competition, a two-day Outdoor Art Exhibit and Sale, plus an Evening Gala to end the week’s activities.

Prominent Southern California artists compete for $13,000 in cash prizes and awards.  All events are held at the San Clemente Community Center unless otherwise noted. The San Clemente Community center is located at 100 North Calle Seville, at the corner of Avenida del Mar and North Calle Seville in San Clemente.
