Royal Dance Academy students will spend summer dancing in New York

Alexandra and Victoria Krstic, Carmel Valley residents, will have an exciting opportunity to dance in New York this summer. They have both successfully auditioned for the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive program in New York and will spend four weeks in the program.

Alexandra will be part of the Performance Track designed for more advanced students, Victoria will be in the Intensive Track that tailors to younger students. Alexandra has also been accepted to the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive program for this and last summer. Both Alexandra and Victoria have been dancing for a number of years at the Royal Dance Academy, directed by Francine Garton. They are both training in a variety of different dance styles at RDA in addition to preparing for vocational ballet exams in the Royal Academy of Dance program.

Alexandra and Victoria are both students of The Bishop’s School in La Jolla. Alexandra has just graduated from 9th grade and she is also a member of the Performing Dance Group at The Bishop’s School. Victoria has graduated from 6th grade.
