Opening Celebration held for Del Mar’s Beach Safety Center

The Grand Opening of the Beach Safety Center (lifeguard tower) in Del Mar was held June 27.

Hosted by the City of Del Mar and the Friends of the Powerhouse, the new facility replaces the previous structure and ensures effective lifeguard protection and improved access to the beach for residents and the millions of visitors to the beaches of Del Mar.

A celebration party is planned for Aug. 1, at 6 p.m. at En Fuego restaurant in Del Mar (1342 Camino Del Mar  Del Mar, CA 92014).  Please visit www.Friends of the Powerhouse.org for ticket information.
