Del Mar Heights’ PTA held its fall kick-off fundraiser “Battle of the Dad Bands” Sept. 22 at the Belly Up Tavern. Three Del Mar Heights “Dad Bands” battled it out, rock n’ roll style, followed by a Dad Jam Session. The event also included dinner, dancing and a live auction.

PTA uses funds raised from this event to pay for mini-grants for teachers, technology, assemblies, and social events.
