Del Mar welcomed the holiday season with its annual old-fashioned Holiday Wonderland event on Dec. 1 in the downtown village of Del Mar and the Del Mar Plaza.

The event featured photos with Santa, snow play area, horse drawn carriage rides, restaurant tastes, face painting, cake walk, musical and dance performances, holiday crafts and fun zone for kids, and a tree lighting at the L’Auberge Amphitheater.
