Heart Health Meet & Greet
February is Heart Health Month and the Del Mar Foundation hosted an event in celebration of heart health on Feb. 4 at the Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center.
The evening featured Dr. Mimi Guarneri, founder and medical director of the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine. Guarneri is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, nuclear medicine and holistic medicine. She is also the author of many articles and books “The Heart Speaks: A Cardiologist Reveals the Secret Language of Healing” and “The Science of Natural Healing.” Her lecture subject was “Heart Health: Mind, Body and Spirit.”
