Solana Highlands students shine

Picture 3 of 13

Solana Highlands Elementary School held Friday Flag assembly Feb. 1 that featured singing by the first-grade students, titled “Presidents’ Day.”  At these assemblies, students are recognized for showing good character, as well as other academic  and school achievement.  Solana Highlands’ 4th graders also performed a special “Gold Rush Day” music performance that showcases students singing and dancing in historical outfits.  All of this brings history alive and aligns to the 4th grade California history standards.
