Coastal Container Gardens class offered in Solana Beach

Chicweed will present the class Coastal Container Gardens on Sunday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Learn how to make a beautiful succulent container garden with a coastal feeling. The beach will be the inspiration for this fun, creative class. You will be guided through the process step-by-step. Bring your own container or purchase a container from the selection available at the class. Plants (three 4” and three 2” succulents), soil, sand and pebbles provided. Shells and decorative glass available for purchase. You’ll also learn how to care for succulents: “How much sun and water? What kind of soil? When to trim? How to take cuttings?” $25 per person.
