Plato Soul performed its high-energy brand of music on July 7 at the second Summer Serenades concert held at the Carmel Valley Recreation Center.

Atomic Groove will perform at the next concert, to be held July 14.

The Recreation Council has concerts lined up every Sunday through Aug. 4, which run from 5 to 7 p.m., and this year they are all being held in the amphitheater at the Carmel Valley Rec Center, located at 3777 Townsgate Drive, 92130.
