Community seminar on teens and weed to be held in Carmel Valley

“The Truth About Weed – What Every Parent Needs To Know” will be presented at Canyon Crest Academy on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. The event is a panel presentation with experts in the field of drugs and alcohol and cognitive sciences offering important evidence based information about marijuana use and the effects on the developing brain. Marijuana is the most abused drug among teenagers. Find out about the significant chemical changes to marijuana over the decades, new trends and the effects on the adolescent brain.

This seminar is free and open to the public. Students are welcome to attend. Spanish translation is provided.
