TPHS Girls JV Soccer Team wins Barons Tournament

The Torrey Pines High School Girls JV Soccer team recently won the JV Open Division of the 34th Annual Bonita Vista Girls’ Soccer Barons Tournament.  The team won all pool games, beating Eastlake HS (1-0), Cathedral Catholic HS (1-0) and San Pasqual HS (4-0).  They played La Costa Canyon HS in the semi-finals and beat them in overtime (2-1).  The championship game was played against Steele Canyon High School and Torrey Pines came out on top with a 1-0 victory.  The team is coached by Jackie Busch.
