Carmel Valley basketball team tops at So Cal Holiday Prep Classic

Torrey Pines girls basketball team won the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic on Dec. 30.  They went 4-0 in the tournament, beating Vista, Eagle Rock, Ramona, and Fallbrook (62-51).  Christina Ellis had her first triple double of the season against Vista scoring 23 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and making 10 steals.  In the championship game Madison Lombard hit four 3 pointers, scored 17 points, and made 5 assists.  Sophomore Sierra Campisano made the All Tournament Team. She averaged 28 points and 13 rebounds during the tournament. Photos/Anna Scipione.
