San Diego County Library Director Jose Aponte visited the
Solana Beach Library Jan. 30. He enjoys visiting each of the more than 30 community libraries in the system, because, as he says, “It is an opportunity to say thank you to the people who give us our purpose. The public is the driving force behind everything we do, and one of the best parts of my job is getting out and thanking the community for making our libraries great.”

The event also featured the music of the TubaFours, The Legends art display, and refreshments. The library is at 157 Stevens Ave, the phone number is
858-755-1404.
