Pianist Reiko Uchida and violinist Jessica Lee performed at the Mainly Mozart Club Amadeus patron donors event, which was held April 5 at the La Jolla home of Victor Fargo.
Uchida is the first-prize winner of the Joanna Hodges Piano Competition, and Lee is the first-prize winner of the 2005 Concert Artists Guild International Competition.

The Classic Hollywood Gala, which benefited the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito, was held at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Surfside Race Place on March 21.
The Tinsel Town-themed event boasted silent and live auctions, food, special guests and live entertainment featuring Rat Pack Revue from Las Vegas and dancing to the B!G Daddy Orchestra.

More than 400 friends of the San Diego Natural History Museum gathered at the museum on March 6 for the seventh Dos Aguilas Binational Fiesta.
Inside and out, the museum was transformed into a Mexican fiesta. Epicurean tasting stations offered food from Romesco Baja Med Bistro, El Rey Sol, El Vitral Restaurant and Tequila Lounge, Cowboy Star and others. A mariachi band and the Opera de Tijuana performed.
