Brookfield to build 25 homes Brookfield Homes, with offices in Del Mar, will soon undertake construction of 25 homes throughout San Diego and Riverside counties, to be started within the next few weeks. Since the housing slowdown began in 2007, builders have seen projects drop below normal levels, a news release explained.
Brookfield attributes the return to projects at a healthy level to the success of federal and state tax credits and historically low interest rates.
Of the homes in San Diego County, Trellis at Windingwalk in Chula Vista is starting six homes; Mahogany at Old Creek Ranch in San Marcos is starting four homes; and in the Poway area, Brookfield Homes started four homes at Calabria and two homes at Serenity, both within The Estates at StoneBridge master-planned community.
RSF agent gets top honors Patti Gerke of Prudential California Realty's Del Rayo branch in Rancho Santa Fe was recently listed in the March 2009 issue of San Diego Magazine as the 2009 FIVE STAR Best in Client Satisfaction.
The recognition is awarded to less than 3 percent of the actively licensed agents in the San Diego area.
"This is the most important award I could ever receive," Gerke said. "All the numbers in the world don't mean a thing if I don't have satisfied customers."
A seven-year veteran of real estate, Gerke was originally an investor who segued into real estate sales, wanting to "prove that not all Realtors are used car salespeople, but true professionals."
