The Del Mar Fairgrounds’ annual Holiday of Lights opens and runs through Jan. 4. The spectacular drive-through light show on the racetrack features more than 400 holiday-themed displays. Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 5:30 to 11 p.m. Admission: $14 per car up to five passengers, $19 for six or more passengers and $49 per bus.
