Santa Fe Christian extended its winning streak to three games as the Eagles opened Coastal League play with a decisive 27-7 victory over Francis Parker on Oct. 10.

Benton Weeks rushed for 140 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries as the Eagles rolled up 335 yards of total offense.

Master Your Sports ‘Elite 8’ team wins Carmel Valley Open Basketball League Championship

On Aug. 4, Master Your Sports “Elite 8” beat out the Breakers with a 30-29 victory to win the Summer 2014 Basketball Open League championship for third/fourth grade.

The team worked hard on developing team chemistry and camaraderie on and off the court. The boys beat the Thunder in the semifinals with a score of 34-24.

Tired from the semifinal game, but hungry for a win, the boys battled the entire championship game against the Breakers.

Central Mustangs Hockey Players win Championship

Central Mustangs Hockey Players recently won the Junior High School Division Championship of the San Diego District Hockey League.

The Del Mar Powerhouse 13U baseball team reached the championship game of the USSSA Patriot tournament held in San Clemente on the weekend of Sept. 6-7. The team played a solid weekend of baseball, earning the #2 seed after impressive pool play victories, and facing the #1 seed in the Championship game.

Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks BU14 – Pejkic Nott’s Forest Labor Day Cup Champions

For the second year in a row, the Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks BU14 Team, coached by Miroslav “Mickey” Pejkic, are champions of the Nott’s Forest Labor Day Cup. The team, playing into the top division, only allowed 1 goal the entire tournament. This impressive result comes after the team was a finalist in the Rancho Sante Fe Attack Tournament. The boys defeated the TVSA Hawks Academy in the finals 1-0. Congratulations Sharks BU14-Pejkic!
