The Carmel Valley Dons sixth-grade Pee Wee football team rolled to an impressive 47–0 win over the Granite Hills Eagles. The Dons’ stellar defense held the Eagles to one first down the entire game.

Prior to their recent winning soccer game at Skyline Elementary School, the Solana Beach Tsunami soccer team thanked their 2011 sponsor, Solana Beach Councilman Dave Roberts, by presenting him with a team photo plaque and soccer shirt.

North Shore softball opens spring registration

It may be fall, but the North Shore Girls Softball League is already gearing up for its spring 2012 season.

“It’s right around the corner and I’m both honored and excited to get the recreational season going,” says Cathy Scheg, North Shore’s new president.

The Solana Beach Stingrays came back from two consecutive losses. (two 1-run losses on Saturday) to win four consecutive games on Saturday and take home the championship title!

The Manchester Boys U8 Academy team have now captured their third trophy of the summer! After playing four games over the weekend, the boys walked away as champions after beating the Carlsbad Lightning Red team by a score of 4-1 in the final.

In their first tournament of the season, the Manchester 10U Girls soccer team relied on strong defense to carry them to the finals of the Coastal Classic Copa Division.

Pacific Swim’s 11-12 boys relay teams break records

More than 600 swimmers from 23 different teams from all over San Diego and Imperial County converged for the 2011 Long Course Meter Junior Olympics in Coronado July 28-31 to find out who was the fastest.
