The L'Auberge Del Mar celebrated the opening of its new KITCHEN 1540 restaurant on Nov. 13 with a grand-opening party. The event featured a sample of delicacies from Executive Chef Paul McCabe along with libation creations and music.
KITCHEN 1540, part of a recent $25 million renovation of the resort hotel, was designed by New York architect Andre Kikoski.
The restaurant features a new modern look with open presentation kitchen. It also has a private dining room wrapped in a wine-encased glass wall. The outside dining and lounge area includes private dining cabanas, a water wall and a fire pit.
