Residents in Pacific Highlands Ranch's Arabella community got together for a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. The breakfast was a way to meet neighbors and learn about the Neighborhood Watch program.
Local police officers came, Pacific Highlands Ranch Fire Station 47 brought out their fire truck for children to inspect and Kidz Power, a child safety program, was also in attendance. Even Councilwoman Sherri Lightner dropped by.
All proceeds went to support the San Diego Crime Victims organization.
The Arabella community recently held a karaoke night, and on April 11 will host a Spring Fling at the Pacific Highlands Ranch Recreation Center from 8:30 to noon. The fling will feature an egg hunt, bounce houses, breakfast and prize drawings.
