The San Dieguito River Park Joint Powers Authority will be hosting a three-day design open house July 17 to 19 for their proposed San Dieguito Lagoon Nature Center.
The public is invited to attend any time during the three-day process to provide community input. A design team of architects, landscape architects and an interpretive designer will be on hand to listen to suggestions.
The open houses will be held at the project site east of San Andres Drive and south of Via de La Valle - park along San Andres Drive. On Friday, July 17, there will be a site tour from 1 to 3 p.m. and a presentation of design options from 3 to 4 p.m.
Saturday, July 18, design opportunities will be presented from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by an open work session and site tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 19, there will be a design presentation from 9 to 10 a.m., a work session and open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a design update presentation from 3 to 4 p.m.
