The Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club welcomed new club manager Lynn Jennings with a St. Patrick's Day-themed party and some doubles tennis.
Tennis players wasted no time schmoozing and immediately hit the courts - all 12 courts were filled with lively games on bright and sunny Sunday, March 15.
Jennings, only two weeks into her new job, has been enjoying the experience.
"It's been wonderful," she said. "This is a beautiful club and we have a great staff."
Jennings is getting to know the members and said she hopes to continue the tradition of great tennis at the club, now entering its 47th year.
"I want to keep the club as active as possible, running smoothly and efficiently," said Jennings, who has previously managed the Bobby Riggs Tennis Club and Barnes Tennis Center.
Jennings, a Carmel Valley resident, is also the coach of the JV girls tennis team at Torrey Pines High School.
The St. Patrick's Day of Sunday's open house was reflected in decorations of shiny shamrocks and buckets full of gold coin (the chocolate kind) on the tables. Many wore their green tennis gear, like Anna Waite, tennis board member.
