The San Diego Natural History Museum will bring BioBlitz to Torrey Pines on May 22, to discover what biodiversity lives in one of the county's most beautiful spots.
The public portion of the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be free (there is a $10 day-use parking pass fee) when activities and booths will be staffed by Torrey Pines docents. Visitors will interact with working scientists, volunteers and educators to explore Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and learn about the museum's collections and research. For more details, visit
The park entrance is on the right off Highway 101, just before the highway begins to climb the Torrey Pines grade.
