YOGA CLASS FOR SENIORS

This is  program for seniors only that is held in the Community Room of the Carmel Valley Branch Library.  Instructors are from Silver Age Yoga.  Every class utilizes chairs but please bring your own exercise mat if desired.  No reservations required.


Every Friday @ 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

INFANT /TODDLER STORY TIME  (Infants – Toddlers)


Every Friday @ 11 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME (3 – 5 years old)

Story time lasts for about 30 minutes and it includes stories, songs, music, fingerplays and a coloring page.

Lego Builder Club

This is a program for ages 6-12 and will be held in Community Room of  the

Carmel Valley Branch Library.  No registration required and limit of 40 participants.  Legos contain small objects and parent’s supervision is recommended.


May 4, 11, 18, 25 @ 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Scientists and Engineers of Tomorrow (SET)

May, 5, 12, 19, 26 @ 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Tutoring for K-6th Graders

High school students will help K-6th graders with assignments and reading skills in the Young Adult Area at 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  No registration necessary.


May 9, 23 @ 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Craft time for PreK-6th graders

This program is limited to 40 participants.  No registration required.


May 11, 25 @ 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Arts & Crafts for 3rd-8th graders

Art lessons and the program by Torrey Pines Art Student is designed for 3rd – 8th graders but anyone is welcome to walk-in anytime.


May 16 @ 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Family Fun Time:  Celebrate Children’s Book Week

Come joins us for stories, craft time and have a tasty treat.  No registration required.  This free program is designed for ages Pre-K to 6th grade.


May 23 @ 7 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

Teen Book Club

New members welcome and should register at the discussion.  For children in grades, 6, 7 and 8.  The group will discuss “Hunger” by Michael Grant

The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library Bookstore carries books, audio visual items, and assorted treasures for library lovers on sale during regular library hours.  All proceeds from the bookstore benefit the library and money raised by the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library are eligible for matching funds from the City of  San Diego.  Our thanks to you!
