Trash hunting robot debuts in San Diego at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center on Nov. 11

After a successful 2012 Summer Trash Tour along the East Coast, the Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean, an environmental non-profit whose mission is to find and remove marine debris from the surface to sea floor, comes to the West Coast with marine debris cleanup at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center on Sunday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Rozalia Project co-founder Rachael Miller will lead educational and interactive marine debris seminars and underwater trash hunting using a VideoRay Pro 4; a hi-tech, underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

Kilroy Realty Corporation (KRC) is supporting this event as part of its overall commitment to sustainability in San Diego.  It has chosen to partner with the Rozalia Project because of their shared philosophy on sustainability programs that create maximum impact.

The Mission Bay Aquatic Center is located at 1001 Santa Clara Place, San Diego, 92109.
