Man arrested for incident at Torrey Hills Vons

A man allegedly took photos under the shorts of a teenage girl at the Torrey Hills Vons on Carmel Mountain Road on Nov. 5, according to Natalie Hone, San Diego Police Department Northwestern Division community relation officer.

The suspect was arrested and booked into jail for a misdemeanor on the night of the incident, Hone said.  He posted bail and was released from jail and was given a court date, according to Hone.

“ Because the case continues to be investigated by the San Diego Police Department, we cannot share any additional information, as we do not want to compromise the case,” Hone said.  “We do not believe the subject is a risk to the public. Once the case is completed it will be forwarded to the City Attorney’s office for review.”
