Robbery Suspects Caught on Tape: $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers is joining forces with the San Diego Police Department Robbery unit to help identify and apprehend two suspects responsible for robbing a Chevron gas station in the Del Mar area of San Diego.
Detectives said at around 3:20 a.m. Aug. 8, a Hispanic male and female robbed the Chevron gas station located in the 2600 block of Via De La Valle. The male suspect was armed with a shotgun and the female was armed with a handgun.
Both suspects threatened the clerk and a delivery driver who happened to be making a delivery at the time of the robbery. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a newer model silver Ford Explorer Sport Trac (4 door.)
Suspect descriptions:
#1 Suspect: Hispanic male, mid 20's, 5'8-5'9" tall, medium build with brown hair. He wore a long sleeve hoodie sweatshirt, grey t-shirt, light colored plaid shorts and white shoes.
#2 Suspect: Hispanic female, mid 20's, 5'5"-5'8" tall, medium build with brown hair. She wore a white t-shirt with a light colored mini-dress.
Suspect Vehicle: Newer model Silver colored Ford Explorer Sport Trac (4-door) with a German Shepard in the bed of the truck.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the identity and location of these suspects to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-TIPS. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the persons responsible for this crime.
