The program provides opportunities for a horseback riding experience to children with disabilities. Donations are needed in order to provide financial assistance to families who would otherwise not be able to afford this valuable experience. Rancho Coastal Humane Society boards and protects pets from families under duress and provides the opportunity for children who have been separated from pets to get them back after family issues have been resolved. The society provides volunteers to help with the Kiwanis club's annual Ugly Dog Contest.
