San Diego County Crime Stoppers, working with San Diego Police Department Northwestern Division detectives, is seeking any information regarding an unidentified male and female suspect wanted for vehicle burglary and credit card theft.
Sometime between 8 p.m. Dec. 16 and 8 a.m. Dec. 17, 2008, unknown suspect(s) burglarized a vehicle in the 4200 block of Calle Mejillones in the Sorrento Hills community of San Diego. The loss included an iPod, a Coach purse and several credit cards. The stolen credit cards were subsequently used at numerous businesses throughout San Diego. One of the businesses, the Adult Emporium on Convoy Street, captured a male and female suspect on surveillance cameras using the stolen credit cards.
The suspects are described as:
is a white male, late 20s to early 30s. He was wearing a long sleeve black jacket and plaid pants.
is a white female, late 20s to early 30s. She was wearing a hooded Chargers sweatshirt and jeans.
Suspect Vehicle is a 1980's white Toyota MR2 with a sunroof.
Anyone with any information on the identity and location of these two suspects is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to a felony arrest.
