Earnest, Crawford subjects of new Del Mar TV video

Serving their community for over 25 years, former Del Mar City Council members Crystal Crawford and Richard Earnest are subjects of a new video “In Order To Better Serve.” Sponsored by the Del Mar Television Foundation and directed by Emmy Award-winner Edward Kramer, the video takes you on a journey of discovery and volunteerism of two community members and how it’s possible to make a contribution through public service.

Kramer commented: “It was a great honor to put together a collection of reflections and wisdoms from more than 25 years’ experience of local governance in Del Mar. In an age of extreme cynicism in politics, Richard and Crystal marked a very productive era in Del Mar’s development and their testimonials are a real guide book and tribute to the ideals of public service.”

Join the Del Mar Television Foundation at the premiere of the video Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. It will be held at the Del Mar Communication Center, 240 10th Street, Del Mar. There will be a reception and after the video the principals will be available for comments or questions.

The video will also be airing on Del Mar Television Channel 130 digital, AT & T 99 in September on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. Check the schedule on the website for further airings at www.delmartv.com.
