Seven local chefs will come together at the Pamplemousse Grille in Del Mar on Monday, Nov. 8, to create an all-inclusive five course dinner to raise funding to assist healthcare costs for one of San Diego’s own, Timothy Gutmann, executive chef, Poseidon Restaurant on the Beach in Del Mar. Gutmann has struggled with Crohn’s disease for 16 years and is battling T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma since January of this year. Doctors want to treat him with a stem cell transplant. Local chefs along with industry leaders are providing the assistance.
Chefs from Stone Brewing Company, Del Mar Country Club, Poseidon Restaurant on the Beach, La Jolla Country Club, The Chef Celebration Foundation, and owner and Executive Chef Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille, who is hosting the event, will provide food, wine and microbrews.
