San Diego County's unseasonably warm and dry weather was expected to come to an end Wednesday, with rain likely overnight, forecasters said.
According to the National Weather Service, the chance of rain overnight as of this morning stood at 70 percent along the coast, 60 percent in the valleys and a 50 percent in the mountains.
The wet weather was likely to last through Thursday, forecasters said.
Wednesday's NWS forecast for San Diego County called for highs mostly in the mid-60s to mid-70s. Lows tonight were expected to be mostly in the low 50s to mid-50s.
