Head Coach Brian Sipe of Santa Fe Christian Schools was recognized as the "Coach of the Week" for his team's week three win over Monte Vista.
San Diego Chargers cornerback, Cletis Gordon and a representative from the U.S. Army presented Sipe with his award and a check from the Chargers for $1,500 to the Santa Fe Christian athletic program before the team's homecoming football game.
"It was an honor to be considered one of the top coaches in the county for Week 3," said Sipe. "Our boys stepped up and got a big victory against Division II Monte Vista, which was a really nice win for our program."
