Community Resource Center holds ‘Jingle & Mingle’ fundraiser

The Community Resource Center held a “Jingle & Mingle” fundraiser Dec. 7 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds’ Red Star Café. The event was held to support the Community Resource Center’s 35th Annual Holiday Baskets Program, to be held Dec. 15-17. The Holiday Baskets Program is a dignified and free “shopping experience” for over 6,000 people in need, including about 3,500 children. Each family or individual has the opportunity to shop for toys, jackets, blankets, books and infant items, and receives a 50-pound box of food with all the staples for a family for a week, and special items for a holiday meal.
