Del Mar Heights Talent Show

Del Mar Heights Elementary School held its annual talent show Jan. 26. The event featured dancers, singers, musicians and more. The Del Mar Heights 6th graders made a big effort throughout the week leading up to the talent show to raise funds and donations for the Monarch School, a K-12 school in downtown San Diego for homeless children. The Del Mar Heights students collected toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair ties and combs, and held a bake sale at the talent show’s intermission to collect monetary donations to benefit the Monarch School. In addition, they kicked off the talent show with a presentation and a performance they created on their own.
