The Solana Beach Parks and Recreation Commission welcomed the season at the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Event at Fletcher Cove Park Dec. 2. In addition to festive decorations and tasty treats, the event included a visit from Santa with a fire truck escort, and entertainment by award-winning pianist Robert Parker and youth choirs from Saint James Academy in Solana Beach.
