Del Mar Resort public workshop set for Oct. 17
The City of Del Mar’s Planning Commission and Design Review Board (DRB) are scheduled to hold an informal workshop related to the Del Mar Resort Specific Plan at 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, in the City of Del Mar Town Hall. The Planning Commission and DRB will review and provide preliminary feedback on the requested land use/zoning changes and the conceptual design of the development proposed at the northwestern corner of the City of Del Mar immediately south of Border Avenue and west of Camino del Mar.
The Planning Commission and Design Review Board will not take any action at the joint workshop. The workshop is solely intended to give the Planning Commission, the Design Review Board and the public an opportunity to provide early comments on the project’s conceptual design and to identify potential issues relative to the City’s Design Review Ordinance (Del Mar Municipal Code Chapter 23.08) and Community Plan.
The conceptual project plans and a schedule of meeting/hearings is available on the City website at www.delmar.ca.us. For more information, contact Matt Bator, AICP, principal planner: (858) 755-9313, ext. 1158 or email@example.com.
