Second Solana Beach City Council Candidates Forum to be held Oct. 9

Another Candidates Forum for the residents of Solana Beach has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. There was a full house with more than 250 people in attendance at the previous forum. Many requests have been made for an additional meeting with the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the candidates. There are five candidates running for two open seats on the Solana Beach City Council.

The five candidates are: Kristi Becker, Kelly Harless, Shawn McClondon, Craig Nelson and Valeri Paul. All of the candidates have been invited to participate in the forum.

The members of the community are encouraged to attend this second forum and meet the candidates and hear them address the issues facing the City Of Solana Beach. This is the time and place to get information. Absentee ballots will be mailed to voters on Oct. 8 and the election is Nov. 6.

Lomas Santa Fe Country Club is located at 1505 Lomas Santa Fe Drive. There is no charge for the event and parking is free and convenient.
