Del Mar Seacoast Republican Women Federated invites the community to an evening of “Politics and Wine” Thursday, March 15, 6 p.m. at the Del Mar Country Club.
Very Reverend Father Pakrad Berjekian will be the featured speaker. He will present the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the point of view of a Christian minority. The lecture will utilize historical facts and documents pertaining to Christian minorities past and present. The intention is to present an unbiased and pure assessment to the conflict, while advocating a peaceful solution.
Berjekian spent 35 years in Jerusalem in various leadership positions within the Armenian Christian community. He serves as Priest at St. John Garabed Armenian Church of San Diego and is currently writing his Ph.D. dissertation: “Armenians in the Holy Land 1260 – 1517.”
