‘Americana’ concert Feb. 22 by Coastal Communities Concert Band

The Coastal Communities Concert Band will perform an “Americana” concert at 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at Carlsbad Community Church, 3175 Harding Drive.

The CCC Band thinks some of the best composers come from our own backyard. And on Feb. 22, the audience will be treated to “Americana,” a concert showcasing the talents of Gershwin, John Williams, Stephen Foster, and more. These are familiar tunes cherished by the public and performed by an award-winning community band — now in its 32nd year —with a surprise or two thrown in (think Charlie Daniels Band and a fiddle).
