Encinitas Karate offers anti-bullying workshop

Encinitas Karate Tang Soo Do is hosting a free Anti-Bullying and Stranger Danger Workshop, geared towards preparing children on how to deal with bullying face to face as well as online cyber-bullying.

Did you know that 77 percent of school-aged children are bullied? Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can affect their ability to learn. The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. There are a number of things people can do to make schools safer and prevent bullying. It is important for everyone in the community to work together to send a unified message against bullying.

Two sessions will be held on Feb. 22: from 9-10:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.-noon.
