Solana Beach merchants offer weekend of holiday events

These holiday events are upcoming in Solana Beach:

• 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6: Santa Meet & Greet at the Beachwalk Shopping Center (437 S. Highway 101). Santa will be at California Pizza Kitchen around 11 a.m., then moving to different locations throughout the Center.

• Noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7: Holiday Open House on North Highway 101 at the Boardwalk Shopping Center (243 N. Highway 101). Stop by for discounts and special deals before you go to the Solana Beach Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.

• 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7: Solana Beach annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Fletcher Cove. Santa arrives at 5:20 p.m.

• 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 13: Holiday Open House at Lomas Santa Fe Plaza and Solana Beach Towne Centre. Free photo with Santa. Your choice of a gift just for stopping by 993 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Suite C.
