Written and directed by award-winning senior producer David Kennard, who also wrote and directed the first film of the trilogy, “A Year in Burgundy,” “A Year in Champagne” gives viewers a rare glimpse into the indulgence, seduction, celebration and triumph of Champagne and how it is produced. Well-respected wine importer, consultant and senior producer Martine Saunier takes viewers into the Champagne region to visit six producers from small makers like Champagne Saint-Chamant, where every bottle is still turned by hand, to the great houses of Gosset and Bollinger, which have helped shape the image of this coveted wine around the world.
